Summer Scouts - Boy Scouts - The Environment

(Environmental Science and Soil and Water Conservation) Study the interactions between the air, land, water, and life and how humans impact each. Conduct several experiments to investigate an oil spill cleanup, animal adaptation, erosion, biodiversity, and environmentally friendly resource use. Includes a field trip to a wastewater treatment plant (Field Trip Permission Form required). Soil and Water Conservation is a required merit badge for the BSA William T. Hornaday Award.
