Sugar Land Dig Pit

Sugar Land Permanent Exhibits

From terrifying T. rex to tiny, living frogs there is something for everyone at the Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land, a satellite facility of the Houston Museum of Natural Science. Permanent galleries reflect the most popular exhibit areas of the main Museum campus, each of which present required science topics for Texas schools as fun and engaging activities for the whole family.

Exhibit Halls

The HMNS Exhibit Halls present a wide variety of fun, informative and exciting adventures for adults and children, including the McGovern Hall of the Americas, Cullen Hall of Gems and Minerals and Wiess Energy Hall. Your self-guided tour of the HMNS Exhibit Halls may take as little as a half an hour or be an all day event... there is that much to see and learn! Ticket includes return visit privileges for the entire day.

Admission price includes access to all HMNS Exhibit Halls except certain "Special Exhibitions" and the Brown Hall of Entomology. Access to the Brown Hall of Entomology is included with admission to the Cockrell Butterfly Center.

Note: Tuesday afternoons after 2pm, admission to the HMNS Exhibit Halls is FREE!

Tricks, Treats & T-Rex
